Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan Customs Union (Customs Union, CU) followed 768 low-voltage
equipment common security technologies and regulations will be enforced since February 15, 2013.
A very wide range of products involved in the technical regulations covering voltage 50V to 1000V AC
and 75V to 1500V DC electrical products, including household appliances, audio and video products,
IT equipment, lighting equipment and other. The certificate is valid for five years. The process of
implementation of the technical regulations are as follows:
(1)September 2, 2011, the certification may continue to use the end of the certificate is valid.
(2)Made on September 2, 2011 to 15 February 2013 certificate, valid 2015 March 15.
Since February 15, 2013, where products fall under the jurisdiction of the Customs Union (CU) CU
certification must apply. By then, the three countries will abort issued the original independent certification,
including the Russian GOST-R certificate. In other words, the Russian GOST-R certification conversion
to the CU certification must be completed on February 15, 2013.
Certificate in Customs Union Customs union Technical Regulations certificate: to prove that the products
comply with the technical regulations of the Customs Union only prove the certificate applies to: Russia,
Belarus, Kazakhstan, the whole territory.
Regulations Effective Date: February 15, 2013.
Transition date: until March 15, 2015 (original GOST-R certificate or certificate TR will void this date)
TR certificate of the Customs Union will implement the new certificate format and certification marks,
logos EAC mark, as shown below.
Customs Union TR certificate issuing authority: registered certification authority of the Customs Union;
Customs union certificate validity period is divided into: single batch, valid for one year, three-year, five-year period;
Customs Union Certificate Application requirements are basically the same and the Russian GOST-R certificate.
