EU released this year on home appliances products universal standard EN60335-1: 2012, a new version
of the standard is based on the international standard IEC60335-1: 2010 on the basis of transformation from,
will be held on November 21, 2014 to replace the old version of the standard EN60335-1:2002.
Compared with the previous version of EN60335-1, the new version of EN60335-1: 2012 appliance universal
standard insulation requirements, material flammability changes and updates, the main changes are as follows:
(1)Update the standard content with dated references to the latest version of the standard;
(2)Modify the functional safety requirements for the use of programmable electronic circuit including software
validation requirements;
(3)Updated Chapter 29 insulation requirements to cover, such as exposure to high-frequency voltage switch
mode power supply circuit;
(4)The updated 30.2 Terms, further pre-selected options and the finished test option;
(5)Deleted some comments and many other annotation convert the body;
(6)Clear the requirements for class III appliances and class III structure.
