After the disintegration of the Czech Republic and Slovakia became two separate nations altogether, and in accordance with EU standards developed their own product testing and certification standards, EVPU organization established in 2003 with office room at China, handling certification application projects in Asia and, other countries of the certification bodies to establish a good working relationship with Russia, thus promoting the development of national certification industry. EVPU mark certificate is valid for three years, during which the application can apply to revoke the certificate, the certificate automatically expire after three years.
